Terms of Service

This Terms of Service Agreement ("Terms") governs your access to and use of the Review My Hinge platform, operated by Paramint LLC ("we," "us," or "Review My Hinge"), including our website, mobile application, and any services provided through them (collectively, the "Platform").

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including those submitting dating profiles for review ("Users") and those providing profile feedback ("Reviewers"). Your use of the Platform is also subject to our current Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By using the Platform or otherwise indicating your acceptance (for example, by creating an account, clicking "I Agree," or accessing a review), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll post the revised Terms and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Platform after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD, YOU MAY NOT USE OUR PLATFORM. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

For purposes of these Terms:

• "Platform" refers to the Review My Hinge website, mobile application, and all services, features, tools, and content made available by Paramint LLC.
• "User" means any individual who submits a dating profile, photo, prompt, bio, or related content through the Platform for the purpose of receiving feedback, advice, or coaching.
• "Reviewer" refers to any individual approved by Review My Hinge to provide feedback, advice, commentary, or other services to Users through the Platform, including but not limited to dating coaches, influencers, and individuals offering profile critiques.
• "Review" means any content provided by a Reviewer in response to a User's submission, including but not limited to video reviews, written feedback, voice recordings, consultations, and AI-assisted responses.
• "Submission" refers to any content submitted by a User through the Platform, including dating profile photos, prompts, bios, text responses, personal information, or context provided for review.
• "Review Package" refers to the specific review service offered by a Reviewer, including format (e.g., text, video), pricing, turnaround time, and any stated deliverables.
• "Content" means all materials made available on or through the Platform, including Submissions, Reviews, Reviewer profiles, messages, comments, and any other content or materials provided by Review My Hinge, Users, or Reviewers.
• "Stripe" means the third-party payment processor used by Review My Hinge to facilitate transactions on the Platform, including User payments and Reviewer payouts.
• "You" or "your" means the person accessing or using the Platform, whether as a User, Reviewer, or visitor.

To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract. By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old;
• You are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law;
• You have not been previously banned or removed from the Platform; and
• All information you provide to us is and will remain true, accurate, and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse access to the Platform or to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or are otherwise ineligible to use the Platform.

You may not access or use the Platform if you are located in a jurisdiction where use of the Platform is not permitted by law or where we are prohibited from offering our services.

Review My Hinge is a two-sided marketplace that connects Users seeking dating profile feedback with vetted Reviewers offering personalized advice and critique. The Platform is designed to help Users improve the effectiveness of their online dating profiles and increase match rates through actionable, honest, and tailored feedback.

Through the Platform:

• Users may browse Reviewer profiles, select Review Packages, and submit their dating profile content—including photos, bios, prompts, and contextual information—for personalized evaluation.
• Reviewers may offer their services through various formats, including written reviews, video reviews, audio feedback, and consultations. Reviewers set their own prices, turnaround times, and specialties, subject to Platform guidelines and approval.
• Reviews are delivered digitally through the Platform, typically within the timeframe specified in the Review Package. Users may rate their experience with Reviewers after receiving a completed Review.
• Review My Hinge may also offer AI-powered tools for profile optimization, such as bio enhancements or photo analysis. These tools are optional and provided to supplement—but not replace—human feedback.

The Platform acts solely as an intermediary between Users and Reviewers. We do not create Reviews ourselves, nor do we guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., matches, dates, relationships) resulting from any advice provided. All Reviews are the independent opinions of the respective Reviewers.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the Platform at any time without notice.

To access certain features of the Platform, including submitting a dating profile or offering review services, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information;
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential;
• Maintain and promptly update your information as needed;
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or suspected breach of your account.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your login credentials or account access.

You may not:

• Create an account using a false identity or false information;
• Create or use more than one account without our prior written approval;
• Use another user's account without their permission;
• Sell, rent, or transfer your account to anyone else.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any current or future use of the Platform if we believe you have violated these Terms, misrepresented any information, or compromised the integrity or security of the Platform.

The Platform enables Users to request personalized dating profile reviews from Reviewers in exchange for payment. By using the Platform, you agree to the following:

a. For Users (Profile Submitters)

When requesting a review, you agree to:

• Submit accurate, respectful, and relevant content, including dating profile photos, prompts, bios, and any additional context required for the Reviewer to provide meaningful feedback;
• Select a Review Package and submit payment through the Platform prior to delivery;
• Use the feedback solely for your personal use and not republish, resell, or misrepresent it as originating from anyone other than the Reviewer;
• Not submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, explicit, abusive, or otherwise violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
• Respect the timeframes communicated by the Reviewer in their package details.

We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or remove any request at our sole discretion, including if the Submission violates these Terms or if the Reviewer is unable or unwilling to complete the request.

b. For Reviewers

When offering services on the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide honest, high-quality, and respectful feedback that aligns with the description of your Review Package;
• Deliver Reviews within the stated timeframe unless otherwise agreed with the User;
• Only accept review requests you are willing and qualified to fulfill;
• Not include discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate content in your Reviews;
• Use the Platform's tools and workflows for submitting Reviews and receiving payment.

Reviewers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for the content of their Reviews, including ensuring that any advice or feedback complies with applicable laws and ethical standards.

c. Turnaround and Delivery

Each Review Package will include an estimated delivery time. While Review My Hinge encourages timely delivery, we do not guarantee that Reviews will be completed within a specific timeframe. If a Reviewer fails to deliver within a reasonable period, you may be eligible for a refund or reassignment, at our sole discretion.

All transactions on the Platform are processed through our third-party payment provider, Stripe, Inc. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.

a. For Users

• When you purchase a Review Package, you agree to pay the total price displayed at checkout, which includes the Reviewer's fee and any applicable taxes or processing charges.
• Payment is required upfront and must be completed before the Reviewer begins work on your review.
• You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your selected payment method for the full amount.
• All purchases are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in Section 7(d) below or unless otherwise required by law.

b. For Reviewers

• Reviewers set their own pricing for Review Packages, subject to minimums or guidelines imposed by Review My Hinge.
• Review My Hinge takes a percentage-based commission from each transaction ("Platform Fee"), which may be updated from time to time. The remainder ("Payout") is transferred to your Stripe-connected account.
• You are solely responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations related to your income earned through the Platform.

c. Stripe Connect

• Reviewers must successfully connect their Stripe account to receive payments.
• Review My Hinge does not control, store, or access your banking credentials. All financial transactions are securely processed through Stripe.
• Failure to complete or maintain your Stripe Connect onboarding may delay or prevent payouts.

d. Refunds and Disputes

We may issue a refund, credit, or reassignment of your request in our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) if:

• A Reviewer fails to deliver a Review within a reasonable timeframe;
• The delivered Review materially deviates from the promised package;
• There is a confirmed violation of our Terms, Community Guidelines, or platform misuse.

Reviewers are not entitled to any payment for Reviews that violate our Terms, are undelivered, or are refunded due to a breach of contract or guidelines.

a. Platform Ownership

The Platform, including all software, visual design, trademarks, logos, brand elements, and original content created by Review My Hinge ("Platform Content"), is owned by Paramint LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws in the United States and other jurisdictions. You may not duplicate, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Platform Content without our express written permission.

b. User Submissions

By uploading or submitting any content to the Platform—including dating profile photos, prompts, bios, answers to contextual questions, or any other material ("Submission")—you grant Review My Hinge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, store, host, process, display, and analyze your Submission solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and delivering the services you've requested.

We do not claim ownership over your Submission. However, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you submit;
• You have all necessary rights to share that content, including the right to use any images or likenesses contained within;
• Submissions must not infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyrights, privacy rights, or publicity rights.

c. Reviewer Content (Reviews)

Each Review created by a Reviewer is owned by the Reviewer who created it. However, by delivering a Review through the Platform, the Reviewer grants the purchasing User a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, worldwide, and perpetual license to:

• Use, view, and display the Review for personal, non-commercial purposes;
• Share the Review privately with others (e.g., friends, coaches, therapists) for feedback;
• Retain a personal copy for future use.

Users may not:

• Sell, resell, or commercialize any Review;
• Publicly post or distribute Reviews without the Reviewer's express permission;
• Edit or alter a Review in a misleading or defamatory way.

Review My Hinge may request the right to feature Reviews (in part or in full) for marketing purposes, but will only do so with explicit permission from both the Reviewer and the User.

d. AI Tools

Any outputs generated using our AI-powered tools (e.g., bio suggestions, photo grading) are provided on an "as-is" basis and are not considered intellectual property owned by the User or Reviewer. You may use the AI output for personal purposes, but you acknowledge that the same or similar results may be generated for others.

By submitting any content to the Platform—whether as a User (e.g., dating profile materials) or as a Reviewer (e.g., text or video feedback)—you agree to the following:

a. License Grant to Review My Hinge

You grant Review My Hinge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, worldwide, sublicensable, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, store, transmit, publish, distribute, modify, adapt, publicly perform, publicly display, and create derivative works of your Submission or Review (as applicable), solely for the following purposes:

• Operating and improving the Platform;
• Facilitating the delivery of services (e.g., matching, processing, feedback handling);
• Enforcing these Terms and ensuring trust and safety;
• Advertising, marketing, and promoting Review My Hinge—but only with your explicit consent if your likeness, profile, or feedback is used publicly.

You agree that Review My Hinge may retain and use anonymized or aggregated data derived from your use of the Platform for product development, analytics, or research purposes.

b. No Confidentiality

Submissions and Reviews are not considered confidential, even if marked private within the Platform. Do not include sensitive, proprietary, or third-party information unless you have the legal right to do so.

c. Permissions for Sharing

If you mark a Review or Submission as public, you grant Review My Hinge and its affiliates the right to share, repost, and display that content—including on social media, marketing campaigns, and third-party platforms.

If you do not provide this permission (by keeping your content private), we will not publicly share your profile, Review, or likeness for any promotional purpose.

d. No Infringement

You represent and warrant that:

• You own the rights to all content you submit, or have secured all necessary rights, licenses, and consents to grant the above license;
• Your content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party;
• You will not upload or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or otherwise in violation of our Community Guidelines.

Review My Hinge reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, remove, or refuse to transmit any content in its sole discretion.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We may collect and use personal information you provide (including profile photos, bios, and contextual answers) to operate and improve the Platform, fulfill review requests, process payments, and ensure platform safety;
• Reviewers will have access to any Submissions made in connection with a Review request;
• We may contact you via email or notifications regarding your account activity, updates to our services, promotions (if you opt in), and support needs;
• With your permission, we may use your content (including anonymized or consented Reviews or profile photos) in marketing, testimonials, or educational content;
• Public Reviews and shared content may be indexed by search engines or shared on third-party platforms, depending on your visibility settings.

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any data transmitted via the internet or stored on our servers.

By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To maintain a respectful, safe, and effective community, you agree that you will not, under any circumstances, do any of the following on or through the Platform:

a. For All Users

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose;
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or falsely imply affiliation with Review My Hinge or any third party;
• Submit or distribute content that is harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory, violent, or otherwise offensive;
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that you do not have the legal right to share;
• Violate the privacy or publicity rights of others by sharing photos or details without their permission;
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Platform, its servers, or other users' experiences;
• Use scraping tools, bots, or automated scripts to access, collect, or manipulate content or data from the Platform;
• Sell, rent, license, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content or features of the Platform without our explicit written consent.

b. For Users Requesting Reviews

• Submit false, incomplete, or misleading information in your dating profile;
• Attempt to bait, troll, or "test" Reviewers in bad faith;
• Use Reviews to harass, criticize, or expose Reviewers;
• Share Reviews publicly without the Reviewer's consent (if the Reviewer has not opted into public sharing);
• Use content from a Review in any promotional, commercial, or public-facing manner without appropriate permission.

c. For Reviewers

• Accept reviews that you are unwilling or unqualified to fulfill;
• Provide intentionally misleading, low-effort, plagiarized, or AI-generated content masquerading as personal feedback;
• Deliver content that is sexually suggestive, inappropriate, or targeted with intent to shame, insult, or embarrass the User;
• Use User-submitted photos or bios outside the Platform in any context, unless explicitly approved for public use by that User;
• Solicit Users outside of the Platform for off-platform transactions or coaching.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action—including removing content, suspending accounts, withholding payments, or terminating access—if we believe you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or any applicable laws.

a. No Guarantees

The Platform and the services provided by Reviewers are intended to offer subjective feedback and personal opinions. We do not guarantee dating success, increased match rates, relationships, or any specific outcomes from the use of our Platform, Reviews, or AI tools.

Any advice or suggestions provided through Reviews represent the personal views of individual Reviewers and are not endorsed or verified by Review My Hinge.

b. Platform "As Is"

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Review My Hinge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose;
• Non-infringement;
• Accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content;
• Reliability of communications or uptime;
• Any assurance that your dating experience will improve.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, bugs, viruses, or harmful components.

c. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Review My Hinge and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including (but not limited to):

• Emotional distress, embarrassment, or reputational harm;
• Financial losses incurred through dating apps or other services;
• Lost data, business opportunities, or anticipated matches;
• Platform outages, delays, or technical errors.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Platform will not exceed the greater of: (i) the amount paid by you to Review My Hinge in the 12 months prior to the claim; or (ii) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations of liability. If those laws apply to you, parts of this section may not apply, but the rest will remain enforceable.

a. By You

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Termination will be effective upon confirmation, and you will no longer have access to your account, past Reviews, or any content submitted through the Platform.

We do not offer refunds for unused services or partially completed reviews unless otherwise specified in Section 7.

b. By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe:

• You have violated these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
• You have engaged in inappropriate, abusive, or fraudulent behavior;
• You pose a risk to the safety or integrity of the Platform or its users;
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period (e.g., 12+ months).

In our sole discretion, we may also remove or ban a User or Reviewer, or refuse future access to the Platform for any reason.

c. Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to access the Platform and any content within it immediately ends;
• We may retain or delete your Submissions, Reviews, or personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy;
• If you are a Reviewer with a pending balance, we may withhold payment if your termination resulted from a material breach of these Terms.

We are not responsible for any loss of data, content, or opportunity following the termination of your account.

a. Changes to the Platform

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or its features at any time, with or without notice. This includes but is not limited to changes to:

• Available Review Packages;
• Pricing or payment terms;
• Reviewer availability;
• AI tools or beta features;
• Content submission or review workflows.

We are not liable to you or any third party for any changes to the Platform or for any decision to discontinue or restrict your access to any part of it.

b. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page;
• Notify you by email or in-app (where applicable).

Unless otherwise stated, the revised Terms will be effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to access or use the Platform after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may cancel your account as described in Section 13.

a. Individual Arbitration Only

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Review My Hinge agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or your use of our services will be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration, and not in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.

You and Review My Hinge agree to waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class action or class arbitration.

b. Arbitration Process

Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration will be held in New York, NY, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

The arbitrator will have exclusive authority to resolve any disputes related to the interpretation, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement.

You may bring a claim in small claims court instead of arbitration if the claim qualifies and is filed on an individual basis.

c. 30-Day Opt-Out

You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. This is the only way to opt out.

d. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any disputes between you and Review My Hinge are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Subject to the arbitration clause above, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York for any claims not subject to arbitration.

b. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, internet outages, strikes, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, war, terrorism, or civil unrest.

c. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction and without notice to you.

d. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

e. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

f. Entire Agreement

These Terms (including our Privacy Policy and any other referenced policies or guidelines) constitute the entire agreement between you and Review My Hinge regarding the use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
