1. Scope of Privacy Policy; Changes to Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Paramint LLC ("Review My Hinge," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application, website, or any related services, tools, or features (collectively, the "Platform").
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including:
- Individuals submitting dating profiles for feedback ("Users");
- Individuals providing reviews and services ("Reviewers");
- Visitors browsing the site or app.
This Policy also applies to any information we collect offline (such as email or support interactions), and any third-party integrations used in connection with the Platform, including payment processors, login providers, and analytics tools.
Please note that our Platform may include links to third-party sites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version here and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. We will also notify you of material changes through the Platform or via email.
The updated Privacy Policy becomes effective on the date it is posted, unless a later effective date is specified. By continuing to use the Platform after the updated Privacy Policy goes into effect, you agree to the terms of the revised policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways: directly from you, automatically as you use the Platform, and from third-party services you choose to interact with. Some of this information may be considered "personal information" under applicable privacy laws.
We treat any information that identifies you or can reasonably be associated with you as personal information. If we combine non-personal information with personal information, we treat the combined data as personal.
a. Information You Provide to Us
We collect the information you choose to provide when using the Platform, including:
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, password (or social login ID), and any other account-related details you submit.
- Profile Submissions: When you submit your dating profile for review, we collect photos, prompts, bios, text responses, and any other content you upload or enter into the Platform.
- Payment and Purchase Data: When you purchase a Review Package, we may collect limited billing information (such as last four digits of your card or billing zip), although full payment data is handled securely by our third-party processor (Stripe).
- Reviewer Data: If you're a Reviewer, we collect additional information like your bio, specialties, Stripe Connect account details, pricing, and turnaround times.
- Support and Communication: If you contact us (e.g., through support requests, feedback, or emails), we collect the information you provide in those messages.
- Referral Codes or Promotions: If you use a referral link or promotional code, we may associate your use with the source of the referral or campaign.
You may also choose to submit optional content (e.g., testimonials, public reviews, profile photos for marketing, etc.)—we will always ask for your explicit permission before publishing anything public-facing.
b. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including:
- Device Data: Device type, operating system, browser type, mobile ID (if applicable), screen size, and version.
- Log Information: IP address, access times, pages viewed, referring URL, and session duration.
- Usage Data: Actions you take in the app (e.g., review submissions, profile views, reviewer interactions), navigation paths, and click activity.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and local storage to recognize your device, keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and collect analytics (see Section 3 for more).
c. Information We Receive from Third Parties
We may receive additional information about you from third-party sources, including:
- Payment Providers: Stripe provides us with limited information to facilitate payouts and fraud prevention.
- Social Login Services: If you sign in using Google, Apple, or another platform, we may receive your name, email address, profile photo, or other public data.
- Advertising & Analytics Tools: Platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and others may provide information related to ad performance, user attribution, or interest categories based on your interactions with our ads or social content.
We may combine this information with other data we collect to improve personalization, performance, and your overall experience.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to better understand how you interact with the Platform, personalize your experience, and improve our services.
a. Types of Tracking We Use
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect certain information through:
- Cookies: Small data files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences, maintain session info, and keep you logged in.
- Local Storage: Used to store limited data on your device (e.g., review submission drafts or app preferences).
- Web Beacons / Pixels: Tiny images or scripts embedded in emails or webpages to track engagement (e.g., whether a notification email was opened).
- Device Fingerprinting & Session Tracking: For fraud prevention, analytics, and session continuity.
b. Analytics and Advertising Tools
We use third-party analytics tools, including:
- Mixpanel: To analyze how users interact with features, optimize onboarding flows, and measure user engagement.
- Google Analytics: To understand user demographics, traffic sources, and behavior patterns across the app and website.
These tools may collect information such as your device type, operating system, time spent on the app, feature usage, referral source, and interactions with specific screens or components.
We may also use retargeting pixels or advertising cookies (e.g., from Google, Meta, or TikTok) to serve relevant ads based on your interactions with the Platform. You may see ads for Review My Hinge on third-party websites or apps as a result.
c. Your Choices
You can control or limit cookies and tracking in the following ways:
- Most browsers and mobile devices allow you to manage cookie settings.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- You can manage ad preferences via platforms like the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative.
Note: If you disable cookies or tracking, some features of the Platform may not function properly.
d. "Do Not Track" Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. At this time, we do not respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry-wide standard for compliance.
4. How We Use Information

5. How We Share Information
We take your privacy seriously and limit the sharing of your personal information to what's necessary for the Platform to function, grow, and protect our users. We do not sell your personal information for monetary gain. Here's how and with whom we may share your data:
a. With Reviewers
If you're a User submitting your dating profile, we share your Submission (photos, prompts, bios, answers, etc.) only with the Reviewer you've selected for the purpose of fulfilling your review request.
Reviewers are contractually obligated to use your content solely for the review process and may not repurpose or share your profile elsewhere unless you've granted explicit permission (e.g., for public testimonials or content collaborations).
b. With Users
If you're a Reviewer, we may share portions of your profile (photo, name, specialties, bio, pricing, and public ratings) with Users browsing the marketplace. Users who purchase your Review Package will also receive any content you submit as part of the review.
We may display your publicly marked Reviews in the app if both you and the User have opted into sharing.
c. With Service Providers and Infrastructure Partners
We work with trusted third parties to help us operate, secure, and improve the Platform. These include:
- Payment processors (Stripe) for transactions and payouts;
- Analytics providers (Mixpanel, Google Analytics) for behavioral insights and performance tracking;
- Cloud storage and hosting partners (e.g., Supabase) for storing media, account data, and reviews;
- Email/text messaging providers (e.g., Twilio) for delivering communications;
- Customer support and moderation tools (if implemented).
These partners are only given access to the data they need to perform their services and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
d. With Advertising & Attribution Partners
We may share anonymized or aggregated data with platforms like Google, Meta, or TikTok to measure ad effectiveness, run retargeting campaigns, or track conversions. We do not give these partners access to personal profile submissions or Reviews.
e. For Legal Compliance or Security
We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe, in good faith, that it's necessary to:
- Respond to a legal process or government request;
- Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements;
- Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
- Protect the safety or rights of our users, team, or the public.
f. In a Business Transfer
If Review My Hinge is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other corporate restructuring, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you (e.g., via email or app alert) if your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We may share your information in other ways if you give us explicit permission—for example:
- Featuring your profile or review in marketing;
- Partnering with dating coaches for personalized follow-ups;
- Participating in optional case studies, surveys, or media.
6. Children and Age Restrictions
The Review My Hinge Platform is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the Platform, submit a dating profile, register an account, or provide any personal information to us.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from someone under the age of 18, we will take prompt steps to delete that information and deactivate the associated account.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at [email protected].
7. Your Choices and Rights
We believe in putting you in control of your data. Depending on your location and how you use the Platform, you may have certain rights and choices related to your personal information.

e. Non-Discrimination
We will never deny you access to the Platform, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service based solely on your decision to exercise your privacy rights.
8. Data Retention and Access
a. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to:
- Provide and operate the Platform;
- Comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations;
- Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements;
- Improve or audit our services (in anonymized or aggregated form, where possible).
Here's how that typically breaks down:
- Account Information: Retained until you delete your account or request removal.
- Review Content: Stored indefinitely unless the User or Reviewer requests deletion.
- Payment & Transactional Data: Retained as required by financial regulations and tax law (typically 7 years in the U.S.).
- Logs and Analytics: Retained temporarily, then anonymized and aggregated for product improvement.
We may retain certain data in backups or audit logs beyond account deletion where permitted or required by law.
b. Accessing, Updating, or Deleting Your Data
You may access, edit, or delete your personal data by:
- Logging into your account and updating your profile or privacy settings;
- Requesting account deletion or data access by contacting [email protected].
We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe (usually within 30 days). If you delete your account, we will remove your data from active systems but may retain a secure archival copy for legitimate business or legal reasons as described above.
9. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect it from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction.
a. How We Protect Your Data
- We use SSL/TLS encryption to secure all data transmitted to and from our Platform.
- Profile media (photos, videos, reviews) are stored using secure cloud storage (via Supabase) with row-level access controls.
- Passwords are hashed and salted using industry best practices—never stored in plain text.
- Stripe handles all payment data via PCI-DSS-compliant systems; we never store full credit card numbers or CVVs.
- Reviewer earnings and payouts are handled through Stripe Connect, which manages KYC and identity verification securely.
b. Internal Controls
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized team members who require it to operate or support the Platform.
- We routinely audit data access, usage, and logs to detect and prevent suspicious behavior or abuse.
- We use Mixpanel and Google Analytics for behavioral tracking, but we anonymize or pseudonymize data wherever possible.
c. No System is 100% Secure
While we make every effort to protect your data, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and devices.
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
