Welcome to Review My Hinge! Creating an account is quick and easy, allowing you to start getting valuable feedback on your dating profile or offer your expertise as a reviewer. This guide will walk you through the process.
Choose Your Sign-Up Method
We offer several convenient ways to create your account:
Sign up using your email address. We'll send you a One-Time Password (OTP) or a verification link to confirm.
Phone Number
Register with your phone number. You'll receive an SMS with an OTP for verification.
Google Sign-In
Use your existing Google account for a fast and secure sign-up.
Apple Sign-In (iOS users)
Sign up seamlessly using your Apple ID.
Verifying Your Account
To ensure security and authenticity, we require verification:
Email Verification
If you sign up with email, check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from us containing an OTP or a verification link. Enter the OTP or click the link as instructed in the app.
Phone Verification
If you sign up with your phone number, you'll receive an SMS text message with a 6-digit OTP. Enter this code in the app to verify your number.
Troubleshooting OTPs
• If you don't receive your OTP within a few minutes, use the 'Resend Code' option
• Ensure your email address or phone number was entered correctly
• For email: add our notification address to your contacts
• For phone: ensure good cellular reception
Setting Up Your Basic Profile
Once your email or phone is verified (or you've used social login), you'll be prompted to complete your basic user profile. This typically includes:
Full Name
The name you'd like to be known by on the platform.
Age Range
Select your age group.
Gender
Select your gender.
Important: This information helps us personalize your experience and is separate from the Hinge profile details you'll submit for review. Reviewers will also complete a more detailed profile during their application.
Keeping Your Account Secure
Use a strong, unique password if you create one during sign-up.
Never share your password or OTP codes with anyone. Review My Hinge will never ask for these via email or phone.
Be cautious of phishing attempts. Always ensure you're on the official Review My Hinge app or website.
