Review My Hinge Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Review My Hinge community! To ensure a positive and productive experience for everyone, we ask all users (those seeking reviews) and reviewers to adhere to the following guidelines. These are designed to foster respect, honesty, and constructive interaction. Violations may lead to content removal, account suspension, or other actions.

Our Community Standards

1. Be Respectful

Treat everyone with courtesy, regardless of their background, opinions, or the feedback given/received

No harassment, bullying, intimidation, or personal attacks

Avoid discriminatory language or behavior related to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic

2. Be Constructive

For Reviewers: Your feedback should be aimed at genuinely helping the user improve. While honesty is key (even "brutal honesty" if that's your style), it should always be actionable and not solely focused on shaming or demeaning

Explain why something isn't working and offer how it could be better

For Users: Be open to receiving feedback. Not all advice will resonate, but consider it with an open mind

If providing feedback on a review (e.g., rating a reviewer), keep it focused on the quality and helpfulness of the review itself

3. Honesty and Authenticity

Users: Submit your genuine, current dating profile materials. Do not misrepresent yourself or use fake profiles

Reviewers: Provide your original, authentic feedback. Do not plagiarize or use generic, templated responses that don't address the specific user's profile

Clearly state if AI tools were used to assist in generating ideas, but the final analysis must be yours

4. Protect Privacy

Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles not intended for public display) of other users or reviewers within public areas of the platform

Reviewers must not share or repurpose a user's submitted profile materials outside of the Review My Hinge platform for any reason without the user's explicit, verifiable consent

Users should not publicly post full reviews they receive without the reviewer's consent, especially if it contains the reviewer's personal insights or likeness (e.g., in a video)

The "Share Results" card feature is designed for safe, anonymized sharing where appropriate

5. No Inappropriate Content

Do not submit or include content that is sexually explicit, graphically violent, promotes illegal activities, or is otherwise obscene or offensive

Dating profiles submitted should be generally appropriate for mainstream dating apps

6. No Spam or Solicitation

Do not use the platform for unsolicited advertising, spam, or to promote external services or products not directly related to a Review My Hinge transaction

Reviewers should not attempt to solicit users for off-platform payments or services

7. Follow the Law

Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws
