Accessing Your Purchase Receipts

After successfully purchasing a review package, you will receive a confirmation and a receipt for your transaction. Here's how to find them.

Email Confirmation

Immediately after your payment is processed, you should receive an email confirmation from Review My Hinge to your registered email address. This email will summarize your purchase, including the reviewer selected, the package name, and the total amount paid.

Payment Processor Receipts

Stripe (Web / Android Stripe Payments)

If your payment was processed via Stripe (typically for purchases on our website or Android app where Stripe in-app payment is enabled), you will also receive an email receipt directly from Stripe. This receipt will contain detailed transaction information.

Apple In-App Purchase (iOS)

For purchases made through our iOS app, Apple handles the transaction. You will receive an official receipt from Apple to the email address associated with your Apple ID. You can also view your Apple purchase history in your App Store account settings.

Google Play Billing (Android - if applicable)

If payments are processed via Google Play Billing, you will receive a receipt from Google to your Google account email, and purchases will appear in your Google Play order history.

In-App Purchase History

You can view a history of your review requests, including package details and amounts paid, in the 'Reviews' tab of the Review My Hinge app. While this isn't a formal invoice, it serves as a record of your transactions on our platform.

Need a Formal Invoice?

The email confirmations from Review My Hinge and our payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google) typically serve as your official receipts.

If you require a more detailed invoice for business or expense purposes, please contact [email protected] with your Request ID and the email address associated with your account. We will do our best to assist you.

Troubleshooting - Didn't Receive a Receipt?

Steps to Take

Check Spam/Junk Folder

Receipts can sometimes be filtered into spam or junk mail.

Verify Email Address

Ensure the email address registered with your Review My Hinge account (and your Apple/Google ID if applicable) is correct and accessible.

Check Payment Status

Confirm that your payment was successfully processed in the app (your request should move to 'Pending Submission').
