How to Rate Your Reviewer & Provide Feedback
Your feedback on the review and the reviewer is incredibly valuable! It helps other users make informed decisions when choosing a reviewer and allows us to maintain a high standard of quality on the Review My Hinge platform.

When and Where to Rate
After your review request is marked as 'Completed' and you have viewed the feedback provided by your reviewer, you will typically find an option to 'Rate This Reviewer' or a similar prompt within the review details screen in the 'Reviews' tab of the app.
You usually have a certain window of time to submit your rating after viewing the review (e.g., 7-14 days). Please check the app for specific details.
How to Submit Your Rating
Access the Rating Option
Navigate to your completed review in the 'Reviews' tab and look for the "Rate This Reviewer" button or section.
Star Rating (Required)
Select a star rating from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent). This should reflect your overall satisfaction with the quality, insightfulness, and actionability of the review you received.
Rating Scale Guide:
Written Comments (Optional but Encouraged)
You can provide specific written feedback about your experience. Consider mentioning:
- What aspects of the review did you find most helpful?
- Was the feedback clear and actionable?
- Did the reviewer address your specific concerns (if you mentioned any during submission)?
- Was the tone appropriate and constructive?
- Would you recommend this reviewer to others?
Anonymous Option
You will typically have the option to submit your rating and comments anonymously.
If you choose to post anonymously, your username and profile picture will not be publicly associated with the rating on the reviewer's profile. The reviewer will still see the rating and comments, but not who left them.
Submit Your Rating
Once you're satisfied with your rating and comments, submit your feedback.
Tips for Providing Helpful Feedback
Be Specific
Instead of just saying "good review," mention why it was good (e.g., "The photo-by-photo breakdown was very insightful," or "The suggestions for my bio were creative and easy to implement.").
Be Constructive
If you have criticism, frame it politely and focus on the review content rather than making personal remarks.
Be Fair
Consider the package you purchased and what was promised.
Focus on the Review Quality
The rating should primarily reflect the feedback you received, not necessarily whether you agreed with every single point (as feedback is subjective).
Can I Edit or Delete My Rating?
Once submitted, ratings may not always be directly editable or deletable by users in the app to maintain the integrity of the feedback system.
